What is the Uunguu Visitor Pass (UVP)?
The Uunguu Visitor Pass provides Wunambal Gaambera people’s ‘Bianngaa graa winya’ (Welcome to our Country) and Traditional Owner consent for you and your passengers to access our Visitor Locations and helps us to manage our Country – all 2.5 million hectares of land and sea. Our Uunguu Visitor Pass is a communal need and modern way for us and our ancestors to know who is visiting our Country.
Sixty percent of the UVP fee is applied to Healthy Country visitor management operations, cultural product development and visitor services training. The remainder is for the benefit of Wunambal Gaambera people.
